It's working : The birth-control pills work to prevent pregnancy even if you get your period, because they work by other methods besides just suppressing ovulation. However, if you are taking continuous active pills in order to suppress your period, as in the case of endometriosis, then it's not working as it should. So you should discuss the goals of treatment with your doctor and consider changing brands.
