When do you need a pacemaker?

Conduction problem: A person would need a pacemaker if his heart has a conductive abnormality causing severe bradycardia, second or third degree av block, sick sinus syndrome or other conditions. The person would have symptoms associated with these conditions and sometimes short periods of cardiac arrest.
