I've read many stories of women who had normal periods throughout their entire pregnancy. how common is it to have normal periods during pregnancy?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Not normal: I've been an obstetrician for over 10 years and i've never had a patient tell me they had normal periods during your pregnancy. I've heard people talk about it as a phenomenon but i think it's a misnomer. The uterine lining cannot shed during the pregnancy. Women can have bleeding in pregnancy... But not a cycle.
