Checkup: It depends on what you mean by "faint feeling.". If you had a 5-10 second period of feeling like you might black out and fall to the ground, you should get checked out. A more complete description of what you felt, a physical exam, and an ekg would be the first step. A heart monitor can be prescribed to pick up any abnormal heart rhythms that you don't feel or that cause further symptoms.
