Miscarriage: A pregnancy test will say if you are pregnant or not. You are describing two different issues 1) painful sex 2) abnormal bleeding including the possibility of a pregnancy its hard to tell with the information you provided but a pregnancy test will only say what happened if you were actually pregnant.
