You do not: Ibuprofen does not cause resistance to your body. Why do you need to give Ibuprofen frequently?

Tachyphalaxis: This process is common to some opioid drugs for pain, when double or tripling the dose is often required to maintain effectiveness. This does not occur with ibuprofen. A kids fever or discomfort may or may not respond to a normal dose of the product because of the condition, not a lack of action.
