Try for 12 months: After 12 months of trying an extensive work up is warranted. 3 tests needed: 1. Semen analysis 2. Ovulation blood test via a day 21 Progesterone 3. Hsg xray to make sure tubes are open. Any obgyn or fertility specialist can do this. At age 21 why the rush?
