A member asked:

I have ulnar nerve entrapment when is surgery needed?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Depends: It really depends on how severe the entrapment is. Mild irritation at the elbow is treated with rest, steroid injections, and padding. If there is clinical weakness in the fingers that are's innervated by the ulnar nerve, then surgery is important to be done.
