Yes : That pain is normal because some blood was released into the bottom of the pelvis an it is very irritating. This irritation can cause quite a bit off pain that should get less and less.

No: Persistent pain is not normal. How do you know that you had a ruptured ovarian cyst? Was an ultrasound of the pelvis done? Did you see a doctor? It may be time to consult your doctor.
