White spot on chest: There are many possibilities. You need to have your doctor or dermatologist exam you to diagnosis what this is.

Trying to picture it: It'd be helpful to see it, but from the way you describe it, i think it could be something like tinea versacolor or vitilligo. Both are very tame conditions that your primary care doctor should be able to diagnose either by looking at it, or running some tests like shining lights at it, or taking a biopsy. Sometimes we even just try treating it empirically with steroids or antifungals.
