See answer: Yeast infections are truly not sexually transmitted infections. A high sugar concentration in the urine (so eating a lot of carbohydrates and sweets, which can cause a sugary urine, may promote yeast infections (which is why they are more common in diabetics). Antibiotics, can affect the normal balance and cause yeast overgrowth too, so be aware of that. Some women r just more prone than others.
