Depends: If epinephrine(adrenalin) was used in the local anesthetic, it can excite the heart beat and rhythm and thus initiate svt. Of course pain itself may do the same.

Shots: The svt could be related to the presence of Epinephrine in the local anesthetic. An elevated CRP can be related to trauma from the injection or more likely it is due to the underlying inflammatory process that makes injections necessary.
