New crowns: Would it make more sense to post this question on the internet ; have it answered by dentists who have not seen you, your mouth nor know the type of crowns made or....By the dentist who actually treated you? It is difficult or impossible to exactly match crowns to natural teeth. Discuss this issue with your dentist as well. We can't evaluate how well it matches not being able to see it ourselves.

Call your dentist: The answer to your question depends on what crowns you have and what cement was used for your crowns. There may not be much precaution at all, or you may be advised not to chew anything for 2 weeks. Please call your dentist and ask so that you get an answer that is appropriate for your 3 crowns you received today. You may also want to communicate whether you liked the lighter shade or not.

Floss daily ; whiten: It can be very difficult to match the shade of teeth particularly in the smile zone. If your new teeth are lighter consider whitening your other teeth to match or if that doesn't work and it bothersome, you may need them redone. As for home care, your dentist flossed your teeth after the insert. Tomorrow and for the rest of your life, you need to floss daily and careful brushing for ideal looks.
