A member asked:

Can you get a false negative when you're 2wks late for your period?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Maybe: In the setting of regular periods, and actual conception, it would be rare to have a false-negative result at 4 weeks beyond conception. Retake the test to confirm, and if negative, then you are not pregnant. Talk to your doctor about ways to control you cycles or for a blood pregnancy test if there is any further confusion.
