A member asked:

I have a pea sized, smooth, purple/pink lump on my upper arm that has been there for a while. no pain or itchiness. what is it and how to i remove it?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

See a derm: If it has been there for a long time and it has not undergone any changes and it's not painful then in all probability it is a non-worrisome lesion . It might be something called a dermatofibroma. However with this said i would definitely see a dermatologist to confirm it's benign nature.
