Ck 4 food allergies: Subclinical food allergies can add to puffiness, and environmental exposure can challenge your lymphatics in your lower lids.See your eye doctor so they can do a complete eye exam, lid exam, and determine the cause to advise you precisely what to do.Sometimes, even the detergent used to wash pillow covers can be irritating to the eyes, when sleeping on it all night. A cream may not be the solution.

See your eye doctor: There are various reasons for lid puffiness. These include, allergy, renal failure, medication reaction, thyroid eye disease, ; orbital inflammation. The most likely cause is age related where the fat that surrounds the eyes prolapses forward giving the appearance of eyelid bags/puffiness. See your eye doctor to rule out other serious causes ; to discuss treatment options including blepharoplasty.

Needs bloodwork: Puffy eyes have many differentials. You need to be checked for allergies (food/environmental/contact), check renal function, check thyroid function and maybe lupus work-up. Medication intake needs to be investigated.
