Every other is ok: Day #1 = first day of period day #14 = likely ovulation consider intercourse on days 10/12/14/16 and by all means consider an ovulation predictor kit to see if the Clomid (clomiphene) is working and to see how you are timing things. Sperm can survive in the cervix up to about 72 hours.

Both work: Either way is fine. His count is fine so assuming no other sperm issues this is not an issue.
