Do choice advocates believe that the zygote is not yet a human being?

A matter of faith: Some religious advocates feel that life begins at conception. Others for instance mormons believe that life begins at implantation. Others at quickening, or when a heartbeat is detected. There is nothing in the bible about this so many strong religious ideas are modern. Remember that around 80% of fertilized eggs spontaneously pass without developing so nature gets rid of many zygotes.

Matter of law/ethics: Certainly, all potential that is human is in a zygote. But we have a very long legal history of allowing the needs/rights of one human entity to over-ride those of another. Until a zygote/embryo/fetus can be cared for outside the mother's body, it is, without question, still an extension of her body and therefore subject to her choices about her body.Without choice, her humanity is diminished.
