Call your OB/GYN: Usually Metronidazole is used for candida or yeast infection. If you feel you have a bacterial infection, this may not work. So you need to contact your obe/gyn physician to let them know your problem. So this can be documented in your chart, and they can recommend what would be best for you. You may need to be seen for an appointment, or prescription that's not available over-the-counter.
