Is it normal that my baby hasn't started crawling yet?

Yes: Some babies crawl at 5 months, and this is normal. Some babies never crawl, and this is normal. Even non-crawlers begin walking at normal ages.

Yes: If your baby is not given enough time on their belly, she may not have the need or want to develop the skill of crawling. If all appropriate milestones are met, this is quite common. Crawling will start if given the opportunity around 6-10 months.

Yes: Babies under 6 months old are too young to crawl. Sitting starts around 6 months, and crawling a couple of months later. Walking may begin at 9-12 months.
