Why can beta-blockers may cause erectile dysfunction in men?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Beta blockers: Parasympatheic nerves bind on beta receptors in the penis causing vasodilation and erection of the penis, blockage of the receptor, blocks the normal parasympatheic input and therefore cause impotence.
