Yes: Definitely it takes the body a few weeks to adjust to a new hormonal birth control. I typically tell patients that they should allow 3-4 months for body to adjust before they decide that the birth control pill isn't for them. If you are having cramping, consider ibuprofen, 600mg to help with the cramps. Good luck!
