Limited pain: A week after coronary bypass most adults have much less pain. Narcotics are usually only needed at night and maybe during rehab. The pain score of 4 or less should be most of the time. Of pain is constant or a clicking noise with coughing, then re check with doctor. Most patients will be much much better at 30 days.
