I had an mri on my hip the other day and they found 17mm multiseptated synovial cyst in the anterior inferior of right hip joint. is it bad?

Probably not: More likely a synovial cyst from a labral tear. Also could be polyvillonodular synovitis. This is somewhat more problematic, but not life threatening. Assume you have follow-up with your local orthopedic surgeon.
