What is my problem if my heel itch from the inside?

Only skin itches: Something to consider is that the skin under the foot is quite thick. It may seem like it is itching from the inside, but it is the sensation coming from nerve receptors deep in the skin. Itchy skin is usual due to dryness, inflammation or irritation.
