Bacterial Vaginosis: Based on your history, you may've been on antibiotics that rid the vagina of its natural bacteria, leading to bacterial overgrowth, worsened by heavy menstruation -- a condition called bacterial vaginosis. You should see your gyn and get tested and treated. It's an easy week long course of antibiotics orally/vaginally. Recurrence is possible though, so you may consider suppressing periods.
