I took a pregnancy test the day my period was supposed to start it said negative. my period is now a day late. i took another and it said negative.

Probably not pregnan: A pregnancy test will usually be positive by the time a period is missed. Ovulation is what brings on a period 2 weeks later, so if you miss your period and you're not pregnant, it usually means you didn't ovulate. The other possibility is that you ovulated late, in which case it might be too early for a positive test. I'd give it some time and see what happens.

Variable: No sex, no pregnancy! if unprotected sex, then possible. Test again in a week.
