Yes, except: In fact , many people have attributed their allergic nasal symptoms to frequent colds. The nasal congestion, headaches, runny nose, and headaches are shared by both. However allergy is not associated with a fever which however may happen when complicated by severe sinusitis. A cold usually last for about 7-10 days but allergies much longer and may even be seasonal.
