Adult BP and HR: Blood pressures between 90/60 and 120/80 is desired, and heart rate of 60 to 100 BPM is considered normal for the average adult. BP below 90/60 is usually considered low and above 140/90 is considered high. These are not absolute numbers though, and some may do fine with slightly higher or lower.

Lower: Blood pressure and heart rate while resting are lower, typically, than when you are active. Typically, both numbers can further drop when you are actually asleep. The numbers that are "normal" for an individual depend on age, level of fitness, and overall health. Heart rate, in a healthy adult, during sleep, can drop into the 30s and be normal.
