A member asked:

Does the intake if fenugreek, usually in the form if tea, help to cure halitosis?

No: Fenugreek is used for many conditions, but so far, there isn’t enough scientific evidence to determine whether or not it is effective for any of them. See dentist to learn how to remove sulfur producing bacteria. See physician if you are having any form of gastric distress. Don't waste your time and money on unproven supplements.

Stinky breath: Halitosis, or bad breath, may be caused by many things: certain food, gum disease (very common!), acid reflux, organ dysfunction, sinus infection or postnasal drip, to name a common few. Bad breath may be the body's way to warn you something in the body needs to be treated. Make sure your mouth/body is healthy by consulting a dentist and a physician so you won't ignore the body's alarming sign.
