I had a ligation 14 years ago, no tube was removed, just cut.tonight i passed something that looked like a slug. could i have been pregnant?

Yes: It's always possible that a pregnancy can occur. The chances after a tubal ligation are, of course, very low. The slug, as you say, could also be a polyp, they look like slugs.
