Yes, Bipolar type II: This is the description of bipolar disorder, type ii: the cycling of mood from clinical depression to euthymia (normal mood) to hypomania. These can occur in any order, and can be triggered by stress, or by nothing obvious. Bipolar disorder classically means moods of weeks or months; rapid mood shifts within minutes or hours are more often a personality trait.
