I think you may mean: Vitamin D. As our bodies are able to produce vitamin D through exposure to sun. So if you have limited sun exposure or utilize a significant amount of sunscreen(which may be necessary for a number of reasons), then it probably wouldn't hurt to supplement your diet with a vitamin D supplement.
