F/u with gyne: You could be in the perimenopausal period- however other things like thyroid problems, anemia/iron deficiency etc- also can contribute to the problem.. I would suggest you to go to see your primary care doctor and also to see your gynecologist to get checked.

Perimenopause: Some women develop similar symptoms as yours when they enter a phase of hormonal changes that occur before menopause and we call it: "perimenopause phase". If your bleeding has become more than your usual cycles and it concerns you, it is better to be examined by your gynecologist to make sure that you do not have any uterine disorders. At the same time your hormonal levels could also be checked.
