Small amount of blood in stool, burgundy in color, lower back plan. should i go to er or ok to wait until morning.

If not stable: If you are hemodynamically unstable, felt dizzy, dry mouth, heart racing, confused, then go to er, otherwise you may wait and observe at home but go to see your doctor the early the better.

Blood in stool: If there is only a small amount of blood and no weakness, associated black stool, abdominal pain or vomiting you could wait until morning to get checked. Bloody stool is abnormal and you do need to be examined.
