Pinched nerve: It sounds like you have "sciatica" -- a pinched nerve where it comes out from the spinal cord between the spine bones. Surgery can keep you in an awkward position while you are asleep, and worsen a minor, not noticed problem that existed before surgery. You should see your primary provider for an examination and studies to make sure it is not something more serious, and to get treatment.
