Ignore: Do plan for ivf to be at a high monetary cost.

Ignore: Do have a positive outlook. Relax. Try not to be anxious as it can interfere.

Ignore: Do keep. appts., arrive early, stay calm, be patient! Take time for yourself, IVF is stressful.

Ignore: Exercise daily, consume a healthy diet, meditate, and take multivitamins.

When: When going through IVF, do make sure you and your partner attend support groups for IVF couples.

Ignore: Get the best doctor with the highest success rate even if you have to drive a long distance.

Ignore: Have realistic expectations. While modern medicine is great it isn't perfect.

Some: Some programs have age cutoffs. Ask if you are over 35 and you are told egg donor only option….

Ignore: Do consider genetic testing of your embryos. Don't transfer more than one embryo at a time.

Ignore: An IVF center advertising the cheapest price may not be your best option. You may not even need IVF.

Do: Do work with doctors nurses and a fertility team you can communicate and trust.
