Ignore: Don't be embarrassed. Skin tags are common and easily treated. Be honest and be well!

Ignore: Doctors can freeze, burn or cut the tags off in a simple short office visit.

Ignore: Ask your doctor about removing skin tags if they get caught in clothing or get inflamed frequently.

Ignore: They may be benign but they are typically a pain in the neck.

Be: Be blunt. If you want removal, just ask. In sterile field, snip or tie off with suture, cauterize.

Ignore: For larger tags, I use a 32G needle with red-label lidocaine.
