Ignore: Don't waste time if u have tingling on one side of the body with a rash forming -stop shingles early.

Ignore: Get to the doctor within the 1st 48 hours.The medicine works much better if started early.

Ignore: Shingles is often triggered by high stress.

Ignore: Do not pick at the lesions as that can cause permanent scarring. Use a cold compress instead.

Ignore: Careful followup and treatmentto prevent post herpetic neuralgia.

Ignore: Do consider vaccine if over 60 or at high risk of shingles. Avoid kids who haven't had chicken pox.

Best: Best prevent, ↓ with vaccine. Else left to only ↓ pain with topical lidocaine 5%, prilocaine cream.

Do: Do not be around kids who have not had chicken pox or the vaccine, pregnant women, or low immune sys.

Do: Do get addressed and medicated within 48 hours if you hope to shorten it and prevent neuralgia.

Ignore: One of the essential dos is that herpes patients should keep their skin clean and rash uncovered.
