Please provide some do's and don'ts on dealing with scabies.

Ignore: Always clean your linens everyday during and after treatment.

Ignore: Do wash bedding, towels, and clothing in hot water and treat close contacts at the same time.

Ignore: Use 5% Permethrin cream from neck down. Leave on 8-14 Hrs. Repeat in 1 week. Inform close contacts.

Ignore: Topical Permethrin kills the mites & eggs of scabies. Another application a week later finishes 'em.

Ignore: Good idea to treat all household contacts.

Ignore: Treat with Permethrin or Ivermectin, wash all linens/clothes from past few days in hot water/dryer.

Ignore: Do follow your doctors treatment to achieve success.

Ignore: Do not share towels or clothes with others that may be contagious.

Ignore: Launder clothing & bedding in hot water, dryer or hot iron, or dry clean, to prevent reinfestation.

Ignore: Do not be embarrassed! Scabies can affect anyone in a variety of settings.

Ignore: They are contagious. Disinfect your home not just treat one person.

Ignore: Do get prescription treatment. The itching may persist for a week after mites are killed.

Ignore: Scrupulous cleaning of clothing & linens must be done to eliminate Scabies.

DO:: Do use permethrin cream as directed. Don't forget to wash all clothes and sheets in hot, hot water.

Ignore: Do see a doctor to make sure you have it , get prescription med and hot wash all clothes, bedding...

Ignore: Treat entire skin from ears to toes. Treat all contacts and everyone in the house, including those w.

Ignore: Wash all Lenin and clothes in washing machine with hot water and use a hot dryer.

Ignore: Treat the house , furniture,carpeting and bedding too.
