Please provide some do's and don'ts on dealing with oral thrush.

Ignore: Adults w weak immune system do get oral thrush.Don't forget to rinse ur mouth after inhaled steroid.

Ignore: If it is a child/infant, make sure to sterilize all nipples and pacifiers as the yeast can remain.

Ignore: Always rinse after steroid inhalers and if you have it brush your tongue softly.

Ignore: Infant Oral Thrush medication can be applied to mother's nipple before feeds to stop colonization.

Ignore: Give your child the medicine after feelings, so it can stay in the mouth longer.

Ignore: If you develop painful swallowing,notify your doctor.

Ignore: Gentian violet is still available in some pharmacies for treatment of thrush without a prescription.

Ignore: Rinse pacifiers, bottle, nipple with equal parts of water and vinegar daily.

Ignore: Nystatin suspension is a great treatment for oral thrush in infants, see a doctor.

Ignore: Don't re-infect! Oral thrush in a baby is treated? Double sterilize or throw the nipples away!
