Please provide a tip on how to ask your doctor about caring for a premie.

Ignore: Do ask your doctor if/ when your baby requires follow up visit with an ophthalmologist for rop.

Ignore: How often do I feed my preemie baby- every two or three hours and how much to give?

Will: Will my preemie baby need physical therapy, speech or occupational therapy?

Do: Do you have any tips on how to calm and soothe my preemie baby?

Will: Will my preemie have a harder time learning in school ?

Ignore: My baby is a preemie. How do I help him/her grow normally?

If: If baby doesn't have the suckling reflex can I teach it or help develop it sooner than normal?

Ask: Ask doc how soon can they start to feed baby. The sooner the better, even if on ventilator.

Ask: Ask docs about using banked breast milk for feeding infant if you don't have enough yet for baby!
