Can be normal,: But be cautious and check with your surgeon. It is not uncommon to have clicking sounds from increased motion just above and just below fusion site, but if it is coming specifically from the site, it may be different. The tail bone pain can be from altered spinal alignment secondary to the fusion and should adjust, but make sure that you discuss with your physician just to be safe.

Hi, My leg started feeling numb and asleep. MRI indicated a l5 s1 annulus fibrosus laceration. I started getting tailbone pain when sitting. Is the tailbone pain related ? Any exercises to do and avoid? How long till will it take to heal? Regards
I've coccyx pain since >2yrs; xray showed nothing; MRI showed disc hernia L5/S1 and a nerve in that area being pinched. Could there be a connection between the herniated disc and the coccyx pain (physiotherapy, medication and shots didnt help?
