QTc over 440 is conc: Qtc over 440 indicates increased risk of torsade de points. You neglected to give the heart rate. Bazett's formula is not valid for rapid or slow heart rates. Also measurment is subjective because the end of the t wave may not be clearly defined. If your rate is faster than 60, subtract .02 for every 10 BPM over 60 to arrive at approx. Qtc.

Heart rate variation: The length of time that it takes for the myocardium to repolarize varies with the heart rate. Faster heart rate, faster repolarization. Therefore, the absolute qt interval is not reliable, and some form of correction of the qt interval that varies with the heart rate is necessary to understand whether the rate of repolarization is normal. However, they are different methods and different math.
