Nothing by itself: However, since your physician rx'd iron pills for you, then he/she must believe you are iron deficient and that he/she already knows the cause (diet and/or a woman's monthly loss). Mpv may run a bit high in iron deficiency; no one knows why and you should not worry yourself over it.
