Do you know the: Cause? I would recommend having your thyroid and metabolic panel checked to see if there is a reason for brittle unhealthy hair. Try hydrating, changing hair care products, avoid damaging products, avoid excess wind damage.

Thyroid check: Thyroid disorder can affect the quality of your hair. A good beautician can evaluate your hair and advise you as long as you are in good health otherwise.

Med eval: For healthy hair growth: Get adequate sleep, avoid excess sugar & fat in diet, v carbonated beverages, eat enough protein, exercise regularly. Biotin helps (but don't over- do it). Insure you have adequate Iron (think kale & other dark green leafies), Omega 3 fatty acids (think walnuts) and vitamin E (fruits & vegetables). Don’t use overly hot water or harsh shampoos.
