A member asked:

Would your lh spike again later in your cycle if you were pregnant?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

HCG and LH: Lh should only spike once during a normal cycle. It is unusual, but theoretically possible to ovulate a second time in a cycle. You might have two lh surges if you ovulated twice. However if you're pregnant, the pregnancy hormone HCG can affect the ovulation predictor test, it turns it positive too.
