If it does not hurt: When you stand on it, it is most likely not a fracture, although it is impossible to rule that out with limited history or physical exam. More likely what it is, is a contusion (bruise) either in the superficial tissue or the bone. Sometimes, trauma in the front of the shin can lead to chronic shin splints as well, so rest and give the shin some time to heal. Ice. If it does not improve, see a doc.
