Common side effects include stomach upset, restlessness, ; impaired sexual function, all of which vary with dose, ; nearly always end right away when the ssri is stopped. Most ssris have to be decreased gradually when stopped to avoid withdrawal effects, again rarely a big deal, although some are very sensitive to this.
