Minor mystery: This is fairly common. In people who are immunocompromised for treatment of illness or prevention of transplant rejection, lots of warts can erupt. We must suppose there's some change in immunity against the HPV strains that cause them, but nobody's been able to figure it out, and it doesn't seem dangerous. Best wishes.
